Igor Sečin, head of the Russian energy company Rosneft. He spoke at the economic forum at the weekend.

He said that Russia supplies only half of its production to the world market, compared to several OPEC+ countries that export up to 90% of their production:

  • “This puts our country in a less favorable position under the current impact assessment mechanism and access to key markets,”
  • “In this regard, it seems appropriate to monitor not only production quotas, but also oil export volumes, given the different size of domestic markets.”
