While the US Independence Day holiday falls on the 4th of July, Monday was scheduled to be an unofficial long weekend.

While markets are open interest and liquidity will be low:

  • Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange will close at 1:00 PM EST on Monday and remain closed on Tuesday
  • The US bond market closes at 2pm EST on Monday and will remain closed on Tuesday

  • FX never closes completely, but the desk will be more or less deserted on Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

Also no, Canada is on holiday on Monday.
