European shares ended the day with mixed results

Major European indices end the day with mixed results:

  • German DAX +0.13%
  • France CAC, -0.16%
  • UK FTSE 100 +0.17%
  • Spanish Capricorn, -0.25%
  • Italy’s FTSE MIB, +0.07%

Major US stock indexes are trading higher as London/European traders look to exit for the day. The Dow Industrial Average is working on its 12-day uptrend and is back in positive territory after earlier declines.

  • The Dow industrials rose 53 points, or 0.15%, to 35,464.80
  • The S&P rose 13.09 points, or 0.29%, to 4,567.68
  • The NASDAQ index led with a gain of 95.62 points or 0.68% to 14154.48
